Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Sarajean Rudman, a Connecticut sole proprietor operating as Connection Is Purpose™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates sarajeanrudman.com and provides nutrition, integrative health, and wellness services.

This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. Contact us at [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

Depending on your interactions with us, we collect:

  • Contact and account information, including your name, email address, telephone number, and account details.

  • Purchase and scheduling information, including services purchased, payment status, appointment times, and related communications. Payment providers process payment-card information.

  • Health information you choose to provide for services, including health histories, nutrition and lifestyle information, medications, supplements, laboratory records, goals, and session notes.

  • Information about a child when an authorized parent or guardian requests support involving that child.

  • Session recordings, transcripts, and summaries when separately authorized.

  • Marketing preferences and information submitted through forms.

  • Technical information collected through our website and its providers, such as IP address, browser, device information, pages visited, and cookies.

Information may come from you, an authorized parent or guardian, our service providers, or another professional you authorize to share information with us.

How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize services, schedule appointments, process payments, communicate with clients, maintain records, support website functionality and security, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations.

We send marketing emails when you opt in. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to purchase or receive services.

We obtain separate consent for sensitive-information processing where required. This policy explains our practices; it does not replace consent required for health information, recording, or participation by a minor.

Our platforms and service providers

We use Kajabi for website hosting, purchases, account access, and general administrative communications. Payments are processed through Kajabi Payments and its payment-processing providers.

We use Practice Better and appropriately configured clinical service providers for health intake, laboratory documents, clinical communications, and clinical records.

Please submit health histories, laboratory records, and other sensitive clinical information through the designated clinical portal rather than website contact forms, ordinary email, or Kajabi Backstage.

Providers may process information on our behalf to deliver hosting, payment processing, scheduling, communications, clinical records, and other services. Their own privacy notices may also apply to activities they conduct independently.

Recordings and transcription

With separate consent, sessions may be recorded for your review and to help Sarajean document and support your care. Approved transcription or summarization tools may assist with documentation; Sarajean reviews generated material before relying on it.

Before recording, we explain the purpose, tools involved, access arrangements, and applicable retention practices. You may decline recording or ask to stop it without losing access to services.

We do not use identifiable session recordings or transcripts for advertising, public content, training other practitioners, or unrelated purposes without separate authorization. Withdrawal of consent stops future recording but may not require deletion of records we must retain.

When we share information

We share information only as reasonably necessary:

  • With service providers supporting our operations and services.

  • With professionals or other recipients you authorize.

  • When required or permitted by law, including legally required reporting.

  • To protect rights, safety, or security, or respond to legal claims.

We do not sell personal information or use health information for targeted advertising.

Cookies and marketing preferences

Our website and platform providers use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as account access, checkout, security, and remembering preferences.

Where optional analytics or advertising technologies are used, we provide the disclosures and choices required by applicable law. You may manage cookies through your browser and any available website controls. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send necessary service, payment, appointment, and account communications.

Children and family participation

Our website accounts and purchases are intended for adults aged 18 or older. An adult client may request support concerning a child, and a child may participate when appropriately authorized and agreed in advance.

We collect only information reasonably needed for that purpose and obtain appropriate permissions. We respect any independent privacy, consent, or access rights a minor may have under applicable law.

If you believe a child has independently submitted information through our website without appropriate authorization, contact us.

Retention and security

We retain information for the period reasonably needed to provide services, maintain required professional and financial records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. The applicable period depends on the information, service, and legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information; withdraw consent; or exercise applicable rights to restrict or opt out of certain processing.

Send requests to [email protected]. Please avoid including health details in your initial email. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Some requests are subject to recordkeeping requirements and other lawful exceptions.

We respond within applicable legal deadlines. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will explain the outcome and any available complaint options. You may also contact the Connecticut Attorney General or another appropriate regulator.

We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights, although withdrawing information or consent necessary for a particular service may affect our ability to provide it.

Additional clinical notices

If a separate clinical privacy notice or consent applies to your services, we will provide it. This website policy does not replace a Notice of Privacy Practices required under HIPAA or other applicable clinical disclosures.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice or consent where required.

Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: October 8 2026

These terms govern purchases and services offered by Sarajean Rudman, a Connecticut sole proprietor operating as Connection Is Purpose™, through sarajeanrudman.com.

Please review these terms before purchasing. Any separate service agreement or clinical consent will identify additional requirements applicable to your care. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Services and professional scope

Sarajean’s work integrates nutrition, integrative health, Ayurveda, health and wellness coaching, yoga, and behavior-change support within her professional qualifications and applicable scope of practice.

Sarajean holds a Doctor of Health Science degree and three master’s degrees spanning nutrition, integrative health, Ayurveda, and health and wellness disciplines. Her credentials include CNS, CDN, CAP, and E-RYT 500.

A Doctor of Health Science degree is not a medical-doctor qualification. Services do not replace medical evaluation, emergency care, or services outside Sarajean’s professional scope. Do not stop or change prescribed treatment without consulting the appropriate treating professional.

Services are subject to suitability and any professional requirements applicable where the participant is located. Outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.

Adult purchasers and participation by children

The purchaser and account holder must be at least 18 years old. An adult client may seek support concerning their child.

Any participation by a child must be arranged in advance. The adult must have appropriate authority to consent and provide accurate information about relevant guardianship or consent restrictions.

The adult remains responsible for purchasing and administrative arrangements. This does not waive any rights of the child or professional duties that may arise from the child’s participation. Additional consent, assessment, or referral may be required.

Offers and prices

All appointments are 60 minutes. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Integrative Intake — $325
One standalone consultation with individualized priorities, recommendations, and next steps. Ongoing between-session messaging is not included.

Deep Dive — $1,750
Eight appointments over four months: one Integrative Intake and seven follow-up sessions. Includes between-session messaging, ongoing refinement of recommendations, and priority scheduling.

Integration — $3,500 paid in full or four monthly payments of $950, totaling $3,800
Sixteen appointments over four months: one Integrative Intake, three additional integrative sessions, and twelve coaching and implementation sessions. Includes between-session messaging and priority scheduling.

Any applicable taxes or additional agreed charges will be disclosed before payment. Testing, supplements, and third-party services are not included unless expressly stated.

Scheduling and package period

Your four-month package begins on the date of your first Integrative Intake appointment. Book the Intake first so we can plan the remaining appointments together.

Appointments depend on mutually available times. Priority scheduling does not guarantee a particular appointment time.

Please schedule and use your appointments during the package period. Reasonable extensions may be arranged for emergencies or delays caused by Sarajean. Unless an extension is agreed or law requires otherwise, unused appointments expire at the end of the package period.

Payments

One-time purchases are payable at checkout.

For the Integration payment plan, the first $950 payment is due at purchase, followed by three monthly payments. This is a fixed four-payment plan, not an automatically renewing subscription. Billing begins at purchase even if your Intake occurs later.

If payment fails, we will contact you to resolve it. Services may be paused after notice while payment remains unresolved. Early cancellation is handled under the refund policy below.

Rescheduling and missed appointments

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

An appointment canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, normally counts as a used session. Exceptions may be made for emergencies.

Late arrival may shorten your session, which will generally end at its scheduled time.

If Sarajean cancels, the appointment will be rescheduled without penalty and will not count as used. If a replacement cannot reasonably be arranged, the affected service will be refunded or credited.

Refunds and early cancellation

To cancel services, email [email protected].

Before services begin: You may receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your first appointment. If no appointment has been scheduled and services have not begun, you may also request a full refund.

A first appointment canceled late or missed is subject to the missed-appointment policy. For a package, that appointment counts as one used session in the calculation below; the entire package is not forfeited.

Standalone Intake: Once the consultation has been delivered, its fee is nonrefundable except where required by law or otherwise agreed.

Packages after services begin: You may end your package early. We calculate the earned portion of the package price using the greater of:

  • The proportion of included appointments already used, including chargeable late cancellations and no-shows; or

  • The proportion of the four-month support period already elapsed.

The elapsed proportion is measured in calendar days from the Intake date to the effective cancellation date, divided by the total calendar days in the four-month package period. It cannot exceed 100%.

We use the total package price selected at checkout: $1,750 for Deep Dive, $3,500 for prepaid Integration, or $3,800 for installment Integration. There is no additional messaging charge or retroactive increase to standalone appointment prices.

We refund payments received above the earned amount. If payments received are below the earned amount, the difference remains due, but unearned future installments will be canceled or adjusted. We provide an itemized calculation and do not charge both an adjusted balance and the original remaining installments.

For example, if a prepaid Deep Dive client cancels halfway through the support period after using three of eight appointments, 50% of the package fee is earned and 50% is refundable.

The effective cancellation date is the date we receive your request, or a later date you specify. Messaging and future services end on that date. Approved refunds are initiated within 10 business days; your bank may take additional time to post them.

This policy does not limit remedies required by law or rights arising from services we fail to provide.

Between-session messaging

Deep Dive and Integration include messaging during the active four-month package period. Messages are reviewed and responded to once each business day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and previously communicated closures.

Messaging is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency service. Use the designated clinical portal for health information and clinical questions.

For an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Recording and transcription

Sessions may be recorded or transcribed for your benefit and to support documentation only after separate consent.

You may decline recording or request that it stop. Recording consent is not a condition of receiving services. Additional permissions apply when a child or another person participates.

Recordings are for private use and may not be posted publicly or distributed without the required permissions. We do not use identifiable recordings or transcripts for marketing or unrelated purposes without separate authorization.

Client responsibilities and materials

Provide accurate information, disclose relevant circumstances, and tell us where you will be located for remote sessions. You are responsible for a suitable internet connection and a reasonably private setting.

Materials supplied by Sarajean are for your personal use. Do not resell, publish, or commercially reproduce them without permission. You retain applicable rights in your own information.

Ending services

Sarajean may decline or end services if they are outside her scope, unsuitable, unsafe, or affected by nonpayment or abusive conduct. Where appropriate, we will discuss alternatives or referrals.

Any unearned fees will be handled fairly under the refund policy and applicable law. Services will not be discontinued in a manner inconsistent with applicable professional duties.

Changes, applicable law, and contact

Changes to these terms apply prospectively. We will not materially reduce an existing purchased package’s benefits or change its agreed price without agreement, except as required by law.

Connecticut law governs these terms to the extent permitted, without overriding mandatory protections that apply to you elsewhere.
